Our Story

It began with a simple dream of being a humble contributor to the captivating world of cinema. Now, we have added a touch of visual brilliance to more than 450 films worldwide.

iGene Media emerged almost a decade back, precisely in August 2014. Our journey commenced with a distinct focus on delivering exceptional visual effects and color grading solutions for Indian films. Over time, we swiftly expanded our horizons, transcending borders to cater to the needs of the film industries in the US, UK, Asia, and the rest of the world.

Now, we offer a wide range of services including VFX, Animation, End-to-End VFX Production, and Color Grading, each headed by experienced and dynamic VFX professionals. Our VFX artists always strive to deliver exceptional results in every task they undertake.

We possess a state-of-the-art production studio spanning across 24000 square feet, fully equipped with advanced technology. Our team comprises over 100 highly skilled and versatile creative artists delivering impeccable end-to-end VFX services for Film and TV. We are committed to ensuring the utmost quality and timely delivery, working relentlessly in 3 shifts to serve clients across the globe.

Our stellar work has significantly contributed to the success of iconic Indian films, including the monumental 2.0., record-breaking Bahubali 2 The Conclusion, breathtaking Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy, Odiyan, Vikrant Rona, and 50 more.

We have left an indelible mark in the realm of Hollywood, European, Asian, OTT, and TV series. Our exceptional team has undertaken the tasks of Roto, Matchmove, Paint, and Compositing for some of the cinematic masterpieces such as the Spiderman: No Way Home, Godzilla vs Kong, Black Adam, The Gray Man, Stranger Things 4, and a slew of other 50+ magnificent projects.

Our cutting-edge color grading services have revolutionized the visual experience in renowned and highly-regarded movies such as Vikram, Master, Petta, Charlie 777, Angamali Diaries, Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, and 350 other films.

Recently, we won the Kerala State Film Award in the Best Color Grading Studio category for the critically acclaimed Malayalam film “Vazhakku”, directed by Sanal Kumar Sasidharan and starring Tovino Thomas.
